...............................................CREDITS, JADES & TRINKETS
 Credits → Credits can be earned by posting in forums, replying to posts and referring your friends to the site.
- Credits can be used to buy items from stores as well as from other users.
- Credits may be exchanged for Jades.
- You will earn O.O4 credits per character.
- You can only gain a maximum of 5O credits per post, no matter how long the post is.
 Jades → Jades are also earned by posting (but the payout is less).
- Jades can be used to purchase items from stores as well as from others users.
- You will earn O.O2 jades per character.
- You can only gain a maximum of 25 jades per post, no matter how long the post is.
- Jades cannot be exchanged for Credits or Trinkets.
- Beyond posting, you can earn Jades by converting your credits. You can click on the "Exchange" link under your posts to do so.
- Two credits are worth one Jade.
 Trinkets → Trinkets are a way of saying "Thank-you for donating your money to further the development of the site."
- Trinkets can be purchased through the donation system.
- Trinkets, cannot be traded among other users. You can however trade the items that have been exchanged for your trinkets with other users.
...............................................AVATARS
→ Your avatar's gender can be changed by clicking on "Account > Edit Profile" and clicking on the male or female gender option.
→ Items for your avatar can be purchased in the shops.
→ We are currently working out the glitches of our new system AIS, if you want to report a glitch when equipping items or anything item related please post here.
...............................................SPAM
Spamming is absolutely forbidden! What is considered spamming?
- Spamming is considered posting topics and replies with one or two words, or a line of gibberish, done solely to earn more credits. If we notice that you are participating in this behavior, your posts will be deleted, and credits altered. (50 credits and 25 jades per EACH post, regardless of length)
When posting lists, surveys, quotes from others (such as jokes, poems, phrases etc.) you must use the quotation codes. Example → [quote]...[/quote]

In the "shopping" forum there are several different stores, here I'll explain them to you ;D;;
Special Shops → In the Special Shops section there will be two shops listed. The shops within use trinkets & special event currency.
- Special Events → Here you will find all the items available for purchase when an event is running. The items will be bought with event currency.
- Trinkets & Treasures → Here you will find all the items available for purchase with trinkets. Some items are permanent, while others are only available for a limited amount of time.
New Eden Shopping District → In the New Eden Shopping District section there will be six shops listed. The shops within use credits .
- Trendsetters → Here you will find the hippest, trendiest and most fashionable clothing.
- Eloquent Apparel → Here you will find New Eden's finest clothing.
- Head Hunters Limited → Here you will find all the hair available to purchase for your avatar.
- Locked Topic → Here you will find all your intimate apparel needs.
- Additions → Here you will find all those little extras that help makes your outfit unique, such as glasses, wraps and more.
- Shoe Store → Here you will find the perfect pair of shoes to go with any outfit!
Bajerbas Marketplace → In the Bajerbas Marketplace section there will be five shops listed. The shops within use jades .
- Faction Gear → Here you will find high-tech clothing, and accessories manufactured by the Rubicon Faction.
- Search and Rescue → Here you will find low-cost clothing and items found in abandoned cities.
- Mythical Legends → Here you can meet Avaricia's very own Xan. Because of his beloved interest in mythology and legends he's open a store to sell his collection of items found within his books.
- Casual Basics → Here you will find comfortable clothing at affordable prices.
- Market Square → Here, you can sell your used goods and browse the shelves for a variety of items sold by other users.
...............................................TRADING
THE TRADING SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY DOWN DUE TO WORK BEING DONE ON IT!
The Trading System is used to trade items and currencies between users.
- Start by clicking on "Trades"
- Afterwards you will type in the name of the user you wish to trade with.
- Proceed by adding your side of the trade.
- Then the user will either accept or add in their side of the trade. ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK THE TRADE BEFORE FINALIZING!
- If the trade is to both of your likings, click on "accept"
...............................................SIGNATURE
If you click on "Account > Edit Profile" you will be able to edit your "signature". Signatures appear below every post. You are allowed 255 characters (letters, spaces, symbols, code, etc.) in your signature.
...............................................LIMITED EDITION ITEMS & EVENTS
Limited Items are items that are only offered for a short period of time. These types of items will be offered on occasion and will be trade able between users after they are no longer being released.
Events will be held on the site to celebrate holidays and the like (ex. Christmas).

...............................................HOW TO CREATE YOUR AVATAR!
We have a brand new system that is still in open beta and therefore going through changes. New guides are being written for it currently, but here is a quick guide to creating your first avatar!
Setting your Genes:
At the bottom of the header, you will see a series of numbers, icons (your currency), mail notifications and other special notices. Then to the far right on this bar, you will see a greyed area that says "Character" and "Account". Click on Character, then choose "Genes" from the drop down menu.
If you can't see this grey menu, be sure that you have Javascript enabled for Avaricia, as a good deal of the site relies on Javascript to build your avatars and purchase items from the shop!
Next you will come to a page that looks like this:
It doesn't look to great at the moment, but this will be changed in the future. :) At any rate, choose the options from the drop down menus for the time being. These will determine your skin tone and expressions. Later, as our new bases are live, there will be many more options such as face shape, nose shape, and more!
After that, hit "Submit"
Equipping your Avatar
Next, go to the character menu again and select "Inventory". It will look something like this:
For now, your inventory will be empty if you are brand new. So go ahead and click "Save Avatar". Your avatar will then appear on the header next to your currency amount.
Shopping for Items
When you register, you are given free currency! You may use this to purchase your first items for your avatar. We have a few shops that feature inexpensive items for newbies. They can be found under the "Shopping" header. Here is a list:
New Eden Shops
These shops take Credits, which you can purchase from right off the bat. However, most of them will require some posting before you can purchase anything aside from small accessories.

Head Hunters Limited (credits) -- Hair Salon! Our hair comes in two parts, front and back. So if your first purchase is for hair, you may want to purchase a bang style first! This will equip immediately after you purchase it, but will show up in your inventory afterwards so that you can equip/unequip it later on.
Bajerbas Shops
These will require a little bit of posting before you can earn enough to buy something here. However, don't worry, since most items in this shop are very inexpensive and easy to obtain!

And there you go! You've made your first Avatar on Avaricia! Congrats!

Avaricia is still in the process of going through many major changes. The next large change is our new bases. We are painstakingly redrawing each item to fit these new bases. Some new features with the bases include: poses, customizable genetics to create more realistic avatars with face shapes, noses, mouths, brows, and more! You won't be stuck with one cutesy young anime face shape forever. You can create young and old characters alike depending on your preference. If anime-style suits you, you can do it. However, for those who want something more, we're accommodating for you too!
We've also kept the lovely curvy/masculine shapes that our members have loved, but areas such as posture and lean have been completely corrected. Here's a preview:
