I thought it would be fun to have a 50 book challenge in 2011. This gives us time to get through the holidays and set up lists, gather books, etc.
You can join now and set up your reading list, you can join in Jan 2011, or anytime in 2011.

The 50 Book Challenge started somewhere on the internet, LJ? Perhaps.
The goal is to read 50 books in one year. This can be whatever you consider a "book". Novels, Manga, magazine articles, Poerty, etc. It's all Good. Some prefer to count pages rather then books.

Sign me up! I have to get through the books I have purchased from the library book sales, so I should be done with all the Cussler before the new year, which should make my list better (he is kind of literary popcorn). I usually do the Summer book read at the local library and read 7 books in a month, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks Dragoness!

I think I'd like to join... though I'm a slow reader.

I can just keep track of the books I finish in 2011 to participate, but not go for 50 per se.

Great! Do you both want to just edit your posts for your lists? Or make a new post, but these ones are on the first page. Very Happy

Raven, don't worry. See above, you go by pages or however you want. No pressure.

Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain't you!
